Overview
Metabolic Syndrome is a pattern of inflammatory diseases that can lead to devastating outcomes for your health, if left untreated. Think of inflammation as being like a “fire within” which occurs due to excess body fat, insulin resistance, cholesterol and triglyceride abnormalities plus blood pressure problems. These multiple cardiovascular risk factors increase the risk of serious heart disease whilst insulin resistance is increasing the risk of you progressing to Type 2 diabetes.
